One of them asked if we still remember <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ireneeng.com\/?p=11484\">Hu Na<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So funny.  I thought about her too recently.<\/p>\n<p>According to this friend who\u2019s husband learned his tennis while attending <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sysu.edu.cn\/en\/index.html\">Zhongshan University<\/a> in Guangdong Province, from Hu\u2019s coach.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently after the asylum episode, the coach was being reprimanded, demoted from coaching the national team. .. .. But he still had a job \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>My gut feeling was that she harbored no political ambition at all, rather than economical one.  Golfer and I jokingly called her \u80e1\u95f9 hu\u2019nao run wild; be mischievous.<\/p>\n<p>Later that morning, we met up with a club traveling from Beijing to New York.  One of the members said he met Hu Na few times in Beijing.  That she\u2019s coaching in Taiwan.<br \/>\n\u201cCashing on her fame or she\u2019s indeed a good coach?\u201d  I wondered.<br \/>\nIt seemed all the old grudges had forgotten, or she wrote multiple repenting letters like that movie starlet Bai Ling of Red Corner fame?<br \/>\nThis delegate member (who asked not to be identified) denied that Chinese government had demoted the coach.<br \/>\n&#8220;Is she married?  Any children? .. .. how does she like Taiwan ..
