Ending the year with a winning night.\u00a0 Not too bad, :).\u00a0 Li suddenly shows up for work because of\u00a0his kids’ holiday schedules.\u00a0 Shishe, I must be\u00a0the most unfit mother on both continents, asserting my pleasure ahead of my kids’.\u00a0 He takes his kids for painting, dancing, piano, tennis, go over\u00a0their homeworks\u00a0.. .. no wonder we don’t see him often at the game.\u00a0 He’s one of better players around.\u00a0 We were hitting for a good half an hour before Simon showed up, then followed by Michel.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Anyway, Simon and I won the 2 sets\u00a0rather decisively again him and Michael.\u00a0 We wanted to play the third set, but he left\u00a0early .. wanted to go over kids homework.<\/p>\n
Li commented that badminton is an easy game to learn, than tennis.\u00a0 Actually he has a point.\u00a0 We all played badminton in China, without a net, just hitting back and forth.\u00a0 He had nice form and his shots are lethal, but he never took lesson, ‘just by watching and figured out myself .. but tennis is impossible to master without a proper coaching.’<\/p>\n
Last night only the four of us showed up for work.\u00a0 When there’s too many players, we don’t get to play (this is often the case .. taking turns) but\u00a0when too few show up we don’t get to play either: not enough warm bodies for a doubles :).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
