I’m so popped by now:\u00a07:30am tennis didn’t happen – for whatever the reason – so I went to\u00a0my\u00a0weekend morning group.\u00a0\u00a0Sunny\u00a0said, “oh, you’re late.”\u00a0 He’s right.\u00a0 Ming and I teamed up against Albert and Sing.\u00a0 We lost both sets.\u00a0 Rushed home, playing with Slowpoke\u00a0for little over an hour.\u00a0 Showered, ate my brunch, then off to my in-laws’, watched Sharapova beating Patty Schnyder, the girl with funny forehand.\u00a0\u00a0Why the heck she raised her hand … didn’t return the serve during the tensed final set?\u00a0 Then Simon called, they only have Tony and Sean,\u00a0needing a warm body.\u00a0 So I basically told my mother-in-law that\u00a0I need to go to work.\u00a0 It’s her birthday.\u00a0 Hey I once had my g\/fs finished a party at my house for me.\u00a0 Anyway, when I sped over to SAndy’s, Irene L.\u00a0and Wah came too in casual outfits, right behind me.\u00a0 “Just passing by.”\u00a0 They changed and Wah and I against Simon and Irene L.\u00a0 Her idea.\u00a0 I wondered out loud, if we won, would Wah have dinner?\u00a0 As game progressing, I worried if Wah’s able to sleep tonight, lol, she can take jokes.\u00a0 We had a thin win\u00a06:4.\u00a0 Played a losing set with Brian against Irene\/Wah.\u00a0 We were the uderdog, but did pretty good at 4:6.\u00a0 … Yesterday after tennis,\u00a0shuttled Slowpoke at pool party and Kinglazy at his buddy’s.\u00a0 Trek to Chinatown for dinner at the former Silver Palace on Bowery Street, called Golden Bridge, right in front of the Manhattan bridge.\u00a0 A guy sit at our table perhpas bored out of his wit, starting giving me stock tip.\u00a0 Friday evening was tennis too.\u00a0 Slowpoke\u00a0took lesson\u00a0with Barry and I picked up a guy to play with while waiting.\u00a0 He looked at me, paused and then said, ‘ok’.\u00a0 Turned out, we had great 45\u00a0minutes hitting till I was out of breath.\u00a0 Then he called out to his partner … it’s Harrison.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t parents all wait around and picking up the balls?\u00a0\u00a0When I went\u00a0back to Slowpoke before her lesson was over, there’s dad sat by\u00a0himself and busy talking.\u00a0 For a second, I thought he’s commentating on Barry’s teaching skills since his court’s the closest to him.\u00a0\u00a0No.\u00a0 Actually he’s yelling to his little boy who’s\u00a0Slowpoke’s size, was playing a grown man 2 courts away\u00a0in a every even game.\u00a0\u00a0I saw the little guy taking lesson\u00a0upon arrival.\u00a0 Apparently the lesson was over and it’s the practice time.\u00a0 The dad\u00a0couldn’t help but\u00a0dishing out, “eeeuuuurrrhhhh … hit cross court …”\u00a0 Pulling his hair and shirt.\u00a0 The boy retorted, “oh, I hate tennis …”\u00a0 “Backhand ..” “Stop talking to me..”\u00a0 The well-built dad got up, “that’s it, let’s go home.”\u00a0 The pair continuously played without missing a beat\u00a0trading\u00a0long beautiful rallies.\u00a0 The dad walked a small circle, then sat down again.\u00a0 The boy missed a shot, he bounced up and pounding his chest like King Kong, screamed “cross court … hit\u00a0hard!”\u00a0 “Shut up !!! … I hate tennis!\u00a0 Oohhh I hate hate tennis !!!! …”\u00a0 All the while Slowpoke was practicing serve serenely\u00a0…\u00a0we all cracked\u00a0up.\u00a0 How would I behave when (if) Slowpoke gets to that level?<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
