{"id":44553,"date":"2022-01-01T20:02:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-01T20:02:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=44553"},"modified":"2023-11-12T15:44:54","modified_gmt":"2023-11-12T15:44:54","slug":"kayak-the-lake-harmony","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=44553","title":{"rendered":"An icebreaker in the Lake Harmony"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG_5483-scaled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-44556 alignleft\" title=\"2021.12.31\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG_5483-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>I finally got to circle the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonvoyage.ireneeng.com\/?p=77473\">Lake Harmony<\/a>, on New Year Day.\u00a0I would have do it again but the oar is bit too short, that getting myself wet.<\/p>\n<p>The lake is privately owned, about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetware.com\/pennsylvania\/top-rated-lakes-in-pennsylvania-us-pa-191.htm\">2.5 miles<\/a>\u00a0long; serene and the glacial water is very clear.<\/p>\n<p>As I was paddling the small kayak, I thought about Alan Kulwicki (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alan_Kulwicki\">1954<\/a>-93) whose trade mark was &#8220;<a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Polish victory lap\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Polish_victory_lap\">Polish victory lap<\/a>&#8220;, which is going clockwise after winning the race. We attended a nascar race here, in the Poconos in 1992.
