But somehow, I still manage to change my grip AFTER tossing the ball. I towel dry then over to tennis.<\/p>\n<p>Today&#8217;s wet is an extreme, and I don&#8217;t know why and what has happened, dripping wet.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"#tennisserve needs improvement\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/p-1bxSYVasc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re trying to copy how a pro does the serve properly, keep watching it in slow motion over and over and try to memorize how it\u2019s done and reply everything you saw when it\u2019s your turn to practice it on the court or even off the court<\/p>\n<p>Split your serve practice session into different separate segments like<br \/>Segment 1 &#8211; dribble the ball x number times before tossing <br \/>Got it perfected, move on to the next<br \/>Segment 2 &#8211; Work on your toss without hitting with your racket <br \/>Check the following:<br \/>How high was your toss?<br \/>How far away in front and to the side of you?<br \/>Put something on the ground where you expect the ball to land . You can use a coin or a piece of paper <br \/>Make sure you can land the ball on that target or close to it over and over<br \/>Now you\u2019re ready to work with your racket: where it travels to reach the hitting position <br \/>Is the racket head all the way up like in the pictures? Whoa that\u2019s usually for the advanced players<br \/>Very important to leave your shoulder from tossing hand to stay up before you start you service swing else your serve will most likely hit the net<br \/>Point to the ball if you don\u2019t want to look like your serving food or drink<\/p>\n<p>Assuming that you\u2019ve learned the proper positioning of your feet so that there\u2019s no issue bending your knees<\/p>\n<p>Have someone watch you from different angles: from behind you, from the left side, right side to get some feedback<\/p>\n<p>Too many pointers already and getting a headache?<br \/>Take a Tylenol and call me in the morning &#x1f61c;&#x1f61d;&#x1f61b;<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>6-3, 3-6 The first set, no hold, no doubles.
