I was happy for her, winning Olympic 2024 gold medal is definitely more prestigous than a grand slam: Olympic occurs only every four years, while grand slams happen four times each year.<\/p>\n<p>I though about Peng Shuai (<span lang=\"zh-Hans\">\u5f6d\u5e05,<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Peng_Shuai\">1986<\/a>-; 2001-22, $9,617,653; 2 singles titles) rather immediately because of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=39367\">her conduct at 2014 US Open semi final match<\/a>, when she refused to retire due to her prolong leg cramp. It was unethical and unsportsmanlike.<\/p>\n<p>But I think people will remember her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=44521\">as a brave girl who came out<\/a>, accusing a high ranking Chinese official of sexual assault. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=44442\">I believe her<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Screen-Shot-2024-08-14-at-12.41.32-PM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-46406 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Screen-Shot-2024-08-14-at-12.41.32-PM-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>However, my motivation of writing this post, is due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kmYdpHtOv_E\">Mehdi Hasan &amp; Victor Gao<\/a> interview on Al Jazeera&#8217;s <em>Head to Head<\/em> program six days ago. I googled Gao (\u9ad8\u5fd7\u51ef, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Victor_Gao\">1962<\/a>-) who has both <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Victor_Gao\">wiki<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/zh.wikipedia.org\/zh-hans\/%E9%AB%98%E5%BF%97%E5%87%AF\">zh wiki<\/a> pages. Among many coverages and interviews, the <em>60 Minutes Australia<\/em> in 2022 caught my eyes, when he said Peng: &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/9now.nine.com.au\/60-minutes\/60-minutes-why-the-world-is-so-worried-about-peng-shuai-chinese-tennis-champion\/016dde35-2311-4987-b699-adc2cca6ea5b\">she can defend herself in front of whatever man or person in China<\/a>.&#8221; Peng&#8217;s post was Nov 6, 2021. Victor was once considered by <a href=\"https:\/\/foreignpolicy.com\/2021\/10\/13\/china-taiwan-xi-jinping-tsai-ing-wen-speech\/\">Foreign Policy<\/a> as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Screen-Shot-2024-08-14-at-1.14.18-PM.png\">a reputable interlocutor in U.S.-China relations.<\/a>&#8221; After this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cTomHia8Jps\">interview with Mehdi<\/a>, wondering if Foreign Policy would say the same now.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"zh-Hans\">\u90d1\u94a6\u6587\u7684\u8d62 \u5f6d\u5e05\u7684\u8f93 <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.wenxuecity.com\/myblog\/66889\/202408\/13300.html\">wenxue city<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u90d1\u94a6\u6587(2002-; 2018 \u8f6c\u804c\u4e1a, \u8d62\u5f97 4,658,739 \u7f8e\u5143; 4 \u4e2a\u5355\u6253\u51a0\u519b) \u4e8e 8 \u6708 3 \u65e5\u5728\u5df4\u9ece\u83b7\u5f97\u5973\u5b50\u5355\u6253\u91d1\u724c. \u8fd9\u975e\u5e38\u73cd\u8d35. \u6211\u4e3a\u5979\u611f\u5230\u9ad8\u5174, \u8d62\u5f97\u5965\u8fd0\u4f1a\u91d1\u724c\u7edd\u5bf9\u6bd4\u5927\u6ee1\u8d2f\u66f4\u73cd\u8d35: \u5965\u8fd0\u4f1a\u6bcf\u56db\u5e74\u624d\u4e3e\u529e\u4e00\u6b21,\u800c\u5927\u6ee1\u8d2f\u6bcf\u5e74\u4e3e\u529e\u56db\u6b21.<\/p>\n<p>\u6211\u5f88\u5feb\u60f3\u5230\u4e86\u5f6d\u5e05 (1986-; 2001-22;\u00a09,617,653 \u7f8e\u5143, 2 \u4e2a\u5355\u6253\u51a0\u519b\u5934\u8854), \u56e0\u4e3a\u5979\u5728 2014 \u5e74\u7f8e\u56fd\u516c\u5f00\u8d5b\u534a\u51b3\u8d5b\u4e2d\u7684\u884c\u4e3a, \u5f53\u65f6\u5979\u817f\u62bd\u7b4b \u62d6\u4e86\u5341\u51e0\u5206\u949f\u4e0d\u80af\u9000\u8d5b (\u901a\u5e38\u5e94\u8be5\u662f\u4e09\u5206\u949f &#8230; \u4e3b\u529e\u65b9\u4e5f\u6709\u8d23\u4efb-\u4e0d\u516c\u5e73. \u73b0\u573a\u76f4\u64ad\u7684\u5a92\u4f53\u6709\u4e9b\u70b8\u9505\u4e86 \u516c\u5e73\u662f\u7ade\u8d5b\u4e2d\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684 \u6ca1\u6709\u4e4b\u4e00). \u8fd4\u56de\u573a\u5730\u4e8c\u6b21 \u5c31\u662f\u8d56\u7740\u4e0d\u80af\u8ba4\u8f93. \u8fd9\u5b9e\u5728\u662f\u592a\u6ca1\u6709\u4f53\u80b2\u7cbe\u795e\u4e86. \u90a3\u662f\u5979\u804c\u4e1a\u8d5b\u4e2d\u6700\u597d\u7684\u4e00\u6b21 \u6240\u4ee5\u5979\u4e0d\u80af\u8f7b\u6613\u653e\u5f03. \u76f8\u6bd4\u4e4b\u4e0b \u4e39\u9ea6\u7684\u5361\u6d1b\u7433\u00b7\u6c83\u5179\u5c3c\u4e9a\u5947 Caroline Wozniacki (1990-; 2005-;\u00a0$36,095,873, 30\u4e2a\u5355\u6253\u51a0\u519b\u5934\u8854) \u5c31\u975e\u5e38\u6709\u98ce\u5ea6 \u4e0d\u4ec5\u6ca1\u6709\u50ac \u8fd8\u5f88\u5173\u5fc3\u7684\u8fc7\u6765\u5e2e\u5fd9 (\u6211\u4e0d\u662f\u5979\u7684\u7c89).<\/p>\n<p>\u4f46\u6211\u8ba4\u4e3a\u4eba\u4eec\u4f1a\u8bb0\u5f97\u5979\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u52c7\u6562\u7684\u5973\u5b69,\u7ad9\u51fa\u6765\u6307\u63a7\u4e2d\u56fd\u9ad8\u7ea7\u5b98\u5458\u6027\u4fb5\u72af. \u6211\u76f8\u4fe1\u5979.<\/p>\n<p>\u7136\u800c, \u6211\u5199\u8fd9\u7bc7\u6587\u7ae0\u7684\u52a8\u673a, \u662f\u516d\u5929\u524d\u9ad8\u5fd7\u51ef\u5728\u534a\u5c9b\u7535\u89c6\u53f0\u7684 \u9762\u5bf9\u9762 (Head to Head) \u8282\u76ee\u4e0a\u7684\u91c7\u8bbf\u88abMehdi Hasan\u91c7\u8bbf. \u6211\u5728\u8c37\u6b4c\u4e0a\u641c\u7d22\u4e86\u9ad8\u5fd7\u51ef (1962-), \u4ed6\u6709\u7ef4\u57fa\u548c\u4e2d\u6587\u7ef4\u57fa\u9875\u9762. \u5728\u4f17\u591a\u62a5\u9053\u548c\u91c7\u8bbf\u4e2d, 2022 \u5e74\u7684\u300a60 \u5206\u949f\u6fb3\u5927\u5229\u4e9a\u300b\u5f15\u8d77\u4e86\u6211\u7684\u6ce8\u610f, \u5f53\u65f6\u4ed6\u8bf4\u5f6d: &#8220;\u5979\u53ef\u4ee5\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u4efb\u4f55\u7537\u4eba\u6216\u4efb\u4f55\u4eba\u9762\u524d\u4e3a\u81ea\u5df1\u8fa9\u62a4.&#8221; \u5f6d\u7684\u5e16\u5b50\u53d1\u8868\u4e8e 2021 \u5e74 11 \u6708 6 \u65e5. \u9ad8\u5fd7\u51ef\u66fe\u88ab\u300a\u5916\u4ea4\u653f\u7b56\u300b\u89c6\u4e3a &#8220;\u4e2d\u7f8e\u5173\u7cfb\u4e2d\u4e00\u4f4d\u4eab\u6709\u76db\u8a89\u7684\u5bf9\u8bdd\u8005&#8221;. \u5728\u63a5\u53d7 Mehdi \u7684\u8fd9\u6b21\u91c7\u8bbf\u540e,\u6211\u60f3\u77e5\u9053\u300a\u5916\u4ea4\u653f\u7b56\u300b\u73b0\u5728\u662f\u5426\u4f1a\u8bf4\u540c\u6837\u7684\u8bdd.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=46390\">Today&#8217;s swim<\/a>: 1,680 @ 46 all breaststroke; 100 free @ 1:57.74 at the end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zheng Qiwen (\u90d1\u94a6\u6587, 2002-; 2018, $4,658,739; 4 singles titles) won the women singles gold medal in Paris, on August 3rd, which was very precious.
