Everyone says should take it when it&#8217;s on its way up.<\/p>\n<p>Also some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennis.ireneeng.com\/?p=47064\">volleys<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ocGM669heSc\">1 slow mo at the end<\/a>: taking the ball on its way down<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/y6LjKy91dyw\">3 serves<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/U43zINRSBVA\">slow mo volleys<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/PXjvJri8AoU\">forehand volleys<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8230; Keeping both arms too close to the body during a double-handed backhand\u2014often called &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">jamming<\/span>&#8221; or the &#8220;<span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">chicken wing<\/span>&#8221; effect\u2014is detrimental to performance because it severely restricts power, control, and range of motion.
