As soon as I got on the court, I was tired.\u00a0 My wrists are very sore, my legs weight ton.\u00a0 Mark and I were warming up, my shots were everywhere but the court; then Irene L and\u00a0Wah came.\u00a0 I teamed up with Wah and had 4:0 lead when Wah decided that\u00a0he’ll play with IL.<\/p>\n
I had no idea how\u00a0did I run.\u00a0 But I did.\u00a0\u00a0 I had plenty mishits, and more than couple of double faults (grrrrrrrrrr),\u00a0but Mark and I\u00a0pushed them into tie break, eventually lost 7:5.\u00a0 The 2nd set we won convincingly at 6:2.\u00a0 I was more than pleased, for Wah plays on 4.0 league at USTA and\u00a0IL’s forehand is formidable; her volley is good too.\u00a0\u00a0Because I was so tired,\u00a0so I used my brain to think\u00a0a bit, \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 lots of lobs and overhead,\u00a0and most of them were great.\u00a0 Am I going to continuously play with my brain?\u00a0 Hell, no, :)) .. I make everyone else look smart, :).<\/p>\n
Last week, Andy tried to change my ground stroke (was hard!), and made comment\u00a0about my\u00a0persistence in staying at no man zone:<\/p>\n
“When you play with 3.5 or lower, you could win by staying\u00a0there, since\u00a0they can’t hit deep anyway … but when you play with us, you’ve got to change.\u00a0 We hit\u00a0harder and deeper .. ”<\/p>\n
That really makes sense.\u00a0 Not that I’m trying to make an excuse for my\u00a0lousy habit, just very glad to\u00a0hear some pointers\u00a0that’ll stick to my mind.\u00a0\u00a0Hey, mister, got medicine for my grunt??\u00a0\u00a0During a change over, Mark commented that Wah treats her well.\u00a0 I agree.\u00a0 I\u00a0got the feeling that’s they against the rest of the world, which bound them together.<\/p>\n
My greying hair must bother Mark very much, he lobbied me to\u00a0dye\/colour again. He’s been at it\u00a0ever since we met couple of years ago. You’d think he owns a hair salon.\u00a0 Hell, no, :), at least not yet. Sorry Mark, \u5973\u4eba\u56db\u5341\u70c2\u8336\u6e23\u00a0 isn’t that right?<\/p>\n
