The small pool at Drury

828 Paseo De Peralta
Santa Fe, NM 87501

The roof top pool, is small but it’s better than our next hotel Hyatt Regency in Dallas.

Next to it, is the Rooftop bar.

Pool at Moab

The pool at Hampton in Moab is tiny, but I did dip in.

Bye SLC

The pool at hotel is never empty at 5:30 but at 7, it’s mostly empty. So can I interpret that swimmers generally have a healthy life style – that we get up early -:)

Little America, Salt Lake City

500 Main St,
Salt Lake City, UT 84101

Little America has two pools: one outdoor on the ground, and one on the second floor in the main building, which is half inside and half outside, which also have two jacuzzis.

In the morning around 7, I’ve the pool on the second floor all to myself. Oddly, it opens from 4am to 11pm. In the evenings, it can be crowded and noisy with kids, teens and women.

The lockers in women’s change room have digital locks but I don’t think they’re working. The change room has no shower.

Morning swim

My morning swim at InterContinental Doral in Miami is great: cool water temp (high 70s?), empty and the pool length is about 35 or 40 yards.

Alafia River

Today’s sail is very pleasant: 8 of us, great company, with great weather. We left from Litter Harbor.

The Beer Can Island was ravaged by the storm, many tress are down and all the structures were wiped out, except the swing.

The three owners paused their plan to make it time share (?), like $1,000 per share.

Today, there are boats and one hot dog boat is around too.

We visit Sunken Island, sailed on Alafia River: a 25 miles (40 km) long river, with a watershed of 335 square miles (870 km2) that flows into Tampa Bay.

People fishing from the bridge 41/45 by The River’s Edge

wiki: … The watershed contains ten named lakes and ponds, and 29 named rivers, streams and canals. During the rainy season, excess water is pumped to the new C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir, which opened in 2005. The river is formed by two prongs. The north prong starts south of Mulberry and runs for 23.9 miles until it meets the south prong in Lithia. The south prong begins south of Bradley Junction and continues for 28.7 miles. The combined river then flows 24.7 miles west into Tampa Bay

We see dolphins; a few boats with Trump’s name on it; rainbows; pelicans,…

Lunch at the River’s Edge is fine.

Little Harbor Marinas

606 Seagrape Dr,
Ruskin, FL 33570

… more pix & videos on Google Maps & Yelp.

We come here often. They recently renovated their bathroom, with new floor, each of the two toilets, completed with shower. The staff for the boat club is helpful and courteous. Relaxing and hassle free.

Swim in the cold

Screenshot

Did 840 in 20 minutes 🏊 the air temperature is 56° and the water is 69°. I thought I like water temp 76° the best, but 69° isn’t bad at all. The air 56° is bit low tho.

气温56/13
水温69/20

爽爽 … 不过气温稍微高点会更爽

周末快乐 🥂

Backstroke swimming

I usually don’t do back, especially with the goggle – it blocks my side view. But I do try from time to time.

The rooftop pool is about 20 yard long. In the morning it’s always just me, water and sky, many times the birds.

… and the backstroke

… more swim and more birds
