A triple celebration: it’s a birthday of one of the players, Valentine’s Day and the third day of the Chinese New Year when we usually eat chive pancakes. Unfortunately, the shop that made the best chive pancake was out of business during the covid-19 pandemic.

The line calls are problematic. Remember, if a ball looks 99% out, it IS still 100% IN. (More bad linecalls: the 2nd serve😉 The reason behind this, is due to the etiquette: be gracious – having doubt? Then give your opponent the point. Secondly, if the partners have different call, then it’s your opponents’ point. When you look at a point, taking your time to call it in or out, Are you really looking at the mark or having your own personal struggle?

I played pretty bad, even lost a 40-love game. But we got 30 min break in between and we enjoyed a glass of sweet wine -Roscato Rosso Dolce 2017 – with snakes.

One hour, three courts, six players. Came out to a sunny, blue skies day.
An hour of doubles, after a decent snow fall two days ago. The roads are all cleaned.
My partner asked me if my town got snowed, it brought back the past snow-fighting memories. It seemed, the 2010 was a year with many big snow stormed but the nuts we are, as soon as the offices closed early, they didn’t come home first but call for tennis. The first two were taken on Feb 10, 2010 and the last one was on Dec 26, 2010.

Having too much on my mind, I played poorly: 2-6, 4-6, 0-6, 6-1 in a doubles game.
I picked up my racket for restrung, $32.58. Don’t know what kind of string and don’t know the tension. The only choice I made was between white or black color of string. I chose white. End of report, lol.
Monday, I hit for an hour with the blue racket. It felt heavy, than the reddish one.
A good doubles game, I played with all three. Didn’t like the music tho. $20 a hour for the court.
