Some win, on Canadian ice .. That reminds me of 1980 against the USSR. US was leading 5:3 in the third period .. then the northern brothers caught up with 2 goals to tie the score. The house was almost came down in joy – they have nothing but hockey, sorry to say. Then at over time, John Carlson (move to 8 min mark to watch ..) scored a beautiful goal to break the Canadian’s strong hold on the title – 5 straight years. He did it without looking .. all the while he was looking at his teammate. The goalie got fooled. The kids range from 15-17 years old. Next year, the championship will be played on our side.
