Mixed Doubles PPR

The first match of 2012, I or my team suffered first wipe out during a regular season. Yap, we got swept, lost all three courts. I was sent off the court, thank lord on my own legs, as vs bicycle or bagels -:)
1D: 6:1, 6:1
2D: 6:4, 6:2
3D: 6:0, 6:4

Our opponents were bit late and the guy was just too good for us. He’s fast serve and his backhand was lethal. He did not hit hard at me at all when I was at the net – he did not need to. However the lopsided match was played under cold air, whenever I congratulated them on a good point, which was often, there was absolute no acknowledgment. This, does not happen often in the league play. After the match, I got to chat with the second team, the guy was gracious.

While looking for updating the score, I discovered this: I have a ranking of 34 in Mixed Doubles PPR.

·A motion was made to adopt a point per round ranking systems (PPR) for implementation in 2004.The motion was seconded and passed unanimously with one (1) abstention. The Chair will appoint a sub-committee with advisors which will recommend details for determination by the full Committee and after confirmation for presentation on the September Call. The Call item will be provided to the USTA by the Chair on or before June 1, 2003.

Whatever that is.
