My second time playing it, on a 36º day, windless and sunny – which is wonderful. One of the players was Mr. Handsome …. wow I haven’t seen him in ages!!! He has the nicest single hand backhand, hence the moniker from me. While waiting, I hit with a young guy next court – it was great! Mr. Handsome said my forehand has improved.

The swimming pool is open, with the rule ‘one person per lane’, which is great!

A little windy but a warm, 61° day in mid December, the tennis courts are packed. Played two sets of doubles and unfinished singles.  Will this be the last out door game of the year?

My forehand is the most improved form this season. I used to rely on my serve and backhand, from single handed, then double-handed backhand due to laziness.

My serve has always been reliable.

Thank lord that they still keep the courts open. 54° but bit windy. And the $700 leg brace.

Tried pickle ball today for the first time and enjoyed it. Won 3-1 but don’t think I’ll remember all the rules and especially the scores. Afterward I played tennis singles and winning 6-3. I haven’t played singles for many years and it does feel lonesome -:)

With three different partners … the scores don’t tell the whole story: winning wasn’t easy.

Another unsymmetrical day … but was surprised that we lost the first set. Not sure how and when but I got my forehand back! Backhand only days seem gone, for the time being.

Today is pretty brutal: windy and cold. But we managed two sets.

The condition of the courts are surprisingly good, given the heavy rain we got yesterday.
