I picked up tennis after I came to New York, because no one plays badminton. Some 30+ years later, I also dabble in pickleball 匹克球.

Tennis has game 局, set 盘, and match 比赛. Each stroke has its own small details to pay big attention to: groundstrokes 落地球 (forehand and backhand), the serve 发球, volleys 截击, the overhead smash 扣杀, the lob, slice, and drop shot 小球.
