HOW TO GET PERMISSION TO PLAY GOLF
Four married guys go golfing During the 4th hole the
following conversation took place:
1st Guy:
‘You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come
out golfing this weekend.. I had to promise my wife that I
will paint every room in the house next weekend.’
2nd Guy:
‘That’s nothing; I had to promise my wife that I
will build her a new deck for the pool.’
3rd Guy:
‘Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife
that I will remodel the kitchen for her.’
They continue to play the hole when they realized that the
fourth guy has Not said a word.
So they ask him, ‘You haven’t said anything about
what you had to do to be able to come golfing this
weekend. What’s the deal?’
4th guy:
‘I just set my alarm for 5:30am. When it went off, I
gave the wife a slap on the ass and said: ‘Golf course
or intercourse?’ She said: ‘Wear sun-block’

Golfer’s foursome consists two married and two singles. It never failed that the bachelors would hurry off from the bar, every time. The two married with children find that amusing.

The other day I had lunch in a joint and a guy sat next to me was on the phone throughout, even while he was chewing. Apparently he works at an up scale men’s club.
.. .. Last Saturday he made $350 for an 8 hours shift. Porn is recession proof. The average girls to work at the club are 22.
“After a week, they’d be like a wrack. I often do baby sitting.”
He started out as an assistant chef. For a girl to make $5,000 a night is usual at the club. But many would gamble it all away, they often play Texas Hold’em till 8 am.
“They sell you a dream.” He said repeatedly.
The celebrities who came were countless. His most memorable one was seeing Michael Jordan, and TO, Terrell Owens came together. Robin Williams, de la Hoya .. The air Jordan is cool.
Crews on the Charles River
Crew refers to the sport of rowing, where teams row competitively in racing shells.
Whenever I visit Boston, I expect to see the crews on the Charles River. It’s just part of Boston or Cambridge.
Heaven on earth
Ok, the largest swimming pool has finally opened for business in Chile – in Feb 2009. This post was written on 3/12/2009. What a beautiful monster !?!?!?!
The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, on Chile’s southern coast, since it opened last month.
DQ promised me that she’ll take me to the largest swimming pool in Central America, Nicaragua next month. How about I’ll warm up there and wait for the Chile one 🙂 .. can’t wait to swim !! hmmmmm .. wondering if the pool has the bottom lines .. and hope my ankle holds up.
Weighty magnetic health hula hoop
I got this magnetic Health Hoop at the local Korean store for $19.99. The one with 98 projections cost $24.99, heavier.
I have never done hula hoop but can manage to do a few. Pumpkin loved it when she was little. Once we vacationed at Dominica Republic in an all-inclusive resort. In the night, they had some sort of entertainments for kids. One of them was getting kids on to the stage to do hula-hoop. Pumpkin went up, was the smallest kids but won. It looked so easy and nature to her.
Flo Hyman 海曼
Flo Hyman (1954 – 1986), Lang Ping‘s idol, her enemy on court friend off court, was acknowledged as the best female volleyball player of her time. She built like a man and she was as powerful as a man.
Even better than Lang Ping, Hyman got the best spiker at their time. After her death, Lang Ping got the best spiker award.
One thing worth mentioning about Flo Hyman. She died on volleyball court in Italy when she was representing a Japanese team. With the money she earned, she was supporting 30+ black orphans in the U.S. After her death, the US team fell apart in 1988 Olympics.
Lang Ping 郎平
Dancing Queen lent me her favored book, Jenny Lang‘s bio 郎平自传 激情岁月. I’ve never heard of this volleyball star since I don’t follow the sport. I finished the book in a day. Jenny is very thoughtful, considerate and balanced lady. I’d love to read on her account the match US defeat China 3:2 in Beijing in 2008 when she captained the US team .. to the consternation of ..? or she was still totally loved by the home crowds?
She mentioned the The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I saw the movie and was moved to tears.
I tried to look up her book on baidu or amazon China but couldn’t find it except some excerpts from her book on baidu. I don’t claim to be an able researcher.
Would volleyball attract more fans if the girls wear the bekinis (and the guys in G-string?) like the beach volleyball? What’s the merit of beach volleyball anyway? The 2nd or 3rd tier volleyballers? I enjoyed Gabrielle Reece. Are there male beach volleyball players?
